Pleasantville Sewer Line Replacement - Construction Update

The ACUA has retained CRJ Contractors through a public bidding process to install a new sewer line to replace the aging force main that conveys wastewater from the Northfield pumping station to the Pleasantville Pumping Station, and on to the ACUA’s Wastewater Treatment Facility in Atlantic City.  The contractor has mobilized with equipment and pipe delivered to a staging area on Ansley Boulevard. Test pits have been completed at Prospect & Oakland as well as on Ansley Blvd at Chester Ave to confirm location of existing utilities & depth to ground water. Pipe installation has begun at Edgeley & Oakland and has proceeded east on Bayview Avenue.
