Residents Can Recycle Campaign Signs

The Atlantic County Utilities Authority accepts most types of plastic campaign signs at the Haneman Environmental Park at 6700 Delilah Road in Egg Harbor Township.

Residents may bring corrugated plastic campaign signs to the Rigid Plastic Drop Off located behind the Recycling Center from 7 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday and from 7 am to 12 pm on Saturdays. Metal bases do not need to be removed.

Other items accepted at the Rigid Plastic Drop Off include plastic buckets, crates, laundry baskets, lawn furniture, coolers, dish drainers, garbage cans (empty!), toys, pet carriers, VHS tapes, CDs, DVDs (and cases), and automotive bumpers.

Please note, not all signs are recyclable; foam board and plastic sleeves used for campaign signs should be placed in the trash.
