ACUA provides biweekly recycling collection. View recycling guidelines for Cumberland County.

ACUA provides weekly trash collection.

Beginning February 2024, Public Works will collect 2 bulky items the last full week of each month. Residents must call 856.825.7000 ext 7388 by the Friday before the last week to schedule. This includes a mattress or piece of furniture, for example. No carpeting, construction debris, or electronics.

Public works will collect metals and appliances (limit 2) on the last full week of each month.

Public Works collects yard waste. Call 856.825.7000 ext. 7388 for schedule.

Public works will collect tires (limit 2) on the last Friday of each month.

Container Guidelines

Recycling: Recycling must be placed in carts provided by the City. NO plastic bags.

Trash: Trash must be placed in carts provided by the City.

Waste Drop Off Services

Electronics must be taken to the Public Works Complex located at 416 S. 15th Street.

Yard Waste can be taken to the compost facility, located at 999 Cedarville Road on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 7:15 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. 

Household Hazardous Waste must be taken to select Cumberland County drop-offs throughout the year. View more information.
