Construction and Demolition (C&D) waste is a portion of solid waste resulting from the construction or demolition of buildings and other structures. Unlike regular household trash, construction and demolition (C&D) debris cannot be put at the curb on trash day.
Construction and Demolition Debris may include:
- Plaster/Wallboard
- Insulation
- Roofing Materials
- Windows
- Treated & Untreated Wood Scraps
- Concrete, Asphalt, Bricks, Blocks
- Linoleum / Tile
- Kitchen / Bath Fixtures (tubs, toilets, sinks)
You may dispose of C&D debris at the ACUA or it can be recycled, which is often more economical.
