The next two-day training for the Master Composter Class will take place Friday, February 21 and Saturday, February 22. The class is held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. The cost is $50 for the two-day training.

Master Composter Training

ACUA has teamed up with the Rutgers New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station to bring a composting class to local residents. Participants will learn how composting helps reduce waste and can be used as a great soil amendment for your garden and plants. Participants will receive a firsthand look at how waste is handled in Atlantic County by touring ACUA's Environmental Park and learning how ACUA's composting site turns yard waste into EcoSoil.

A variety of presenters will provide information to build student’s knowledge on composting basics, soils and even worm composting.
