The Governor selected our site, which is home to five wind turbines that make up the Jersey-Atlantic Wind Farm, as an example of wind power at work. The turbines, along with our solar project, have powered our energy intensive Wastewater Treatment Facility since 2005.

“Our goal is to grow offshore wind in a way that creates jobs and reduces our dependence on fossil fuels,” Governor Murphy said. “New Jersey is committed to growing our clean energy sector, and offshore wind is at the crux of increasing that part of our economy.”
